Nathan Jones is a London-based painter. He is known for two related series: paintings inspired by nineteenth-century Japanese printmaking (often featuring birds), and his atmospheric ‘Silhouette' series, which simultaneously combines both figure and landscape within the one painting. He is represented by Hicks Gallery (London) and Mccully & Crane (Rye), exhibits regularly, and has twice been included in The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, London (2016 & 2014). He gained an MA in Fine Art: Painting from Wimbledon School of Art in 2004.
